Wednesday

off the cuff | off to austin

headed to austin for a week-long vacation. to prepare i gathered multiple recommendations from former austin residents (apparently this trip will involve a lot of shredded meat & barbecue sauce) and absorbed this austin vs. los angeles street style battle from refinery 29 (austin won). i leave you with this selection of wicked cuffs courtesy of accessory line thirty four. the silver one above: a definite favorite.

look at this robe. it whispers: "i am a cloud of comfort and i'm waiting for you to lose yourself in me."

look at this necklace. it screams: "i am a geometrical enigma that will make every plain summer dress and t-shirt you have look quirky."

artistic causes | one million bones

have you heard of one million bones? such a beautiful/artistic way to fight & bring awareness to genocide. in their words its a collaborative art installation designed to recognize the millions of victims/survivors who have been killed or displaced by the ongoing genocides and mass atrocities in sudan, democratic republic of congo, and burma.  you can create or sponsor a bone, have a bone made in your name, donate money, or volunteer your time. check out their site for more information.
